We've been in business since 1937
What is your primary product or service?
Pianos, Guitars, Amps and Lessons
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We're a third generation piano company and I was born into the business. I've been selling and repairing pianos for over 40 years.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are a part of the local community. We are a family owned and operated store - not some large faceless corporation with multiple stores. We live in the same neighborhood as our customers and we see them in the grocery store, the mall, and at church. We want them to be absolutely pleased with their purchase, happy to see us, and telling their friends and family about us. Quite simply, Jasons offers “more for less”. Our no frills approach allows us to provide our clients more for less, and more than meet our obligations of service and quality.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two locations; Our piano showroom at 509 McCormick Dr., Hanover, MD 21073 (at Dorsey Rd. across from BWI Airport) and our shop at 8149 Ritchie Hwy., Pasadena, MD 21122 that handles everything but pianos.

Steve Cohen owns Jasons Music Center, with their home office on Ritchie Highway in Pasadena, and a warehouse outlet at BWI Airport.

Monday - Thursday: 10:00 to 9:00 Friday & Saturday: 10:00 to 5:00 Sunday: Closed
